I found my career by luck. I wanted to work in the travel industry and I had an interview at the airport near me. I got a job as a sales assistant in one of their shops - a perfume shop - and it was great for me because my sense of smell is ... amazing. I knew all the perfumes by smell in the first week. Words to change your mood

It's always nice to do things for the people you care about. But sometimes a few words can change how other people feel. Use one of these phrases today to put a smile on someone's face!

'Nice coat! Is it new?' - People like it when you notice something new.
'It'll be OK.' - Sometimes someone feels stressed about something for a good reason. These words can make them feel a little more positive about things.
'I know what you mean.' - This means you're really listening to the other person. You're interested in their ideas. But only say this if it's true.
'You can do it!' - This helps when people are afraid of trying something new. You can also say, 'You'll be great.'
'What do YOU think?' - People are always pleased about it when you think their opinion is important.
'That's a really good question!' or 'What a great question!' - These are good things to say to someone who isn't very confident about speaking and you want to help them.
'Do you want to have a chat or maybe go out for a coffee?' - This can help people when they are feeling unhappy about something or they are perhaps a little lonely.

Online games - bringing people together

1 Ryan George and four of his good friends Scott, Kesean, Matt and Gerard have something in common: they love playing online games, and an online football game in particular. They often play together, and they message and video call each other, too. They're good friends, but today is the first time Ryan and three of his friends are talking face-to-face - at 28-year-old Ryan's wedding in Wales.

2 Ryan, Scott, Kesean and Matt are all having great fun at the wedding, and they all really want to meet again. They're talking about meeting next year for a concert. They hope that Gerard can meet them, too. Gerard's looking after his new baby today, so he can't be at the wedding.

3 Ryan isn't the only person to invite online friends to his wedding. There are other stories about online friends going to each other's weddings. There are also stories about gamers who travel across a country to visit an online friend in hospital, or online friends from different countries who meet up after ten years or more of playing together.

4 We often imagine online gamers as people sitting alone in their rooms, but online games are a great way to talk to people. They are also important for our health. We start by talking about the game, and later we talk about our life and other things. This makes us feel good.

5 So, how do we make friends online? Well, it's similar to making friends face-to-face. We need to find the right opportunities. First, we need to play the right games so we have a chance to talk to people. Games where we play with others as a team are the best idea, not games where we play alone. Second, we can go to online gaming forums and talk to people about games on there.
